and have even started to blossom.
It won't be long until they are ready to harvest.
Or so I thought.....
Look at the guilt on her face.
She can give me those sweet puppy eyes
but I know better.
This is what is left.
It would have made a great picture had someone been there to catch the look on MY face when I noticed Padme's destruction. If she wasn't an important part of our family, she would be gone by now.
I hope there is enough left on the top of the potato plants to get food and nutrients to the potatoes underneath. We really hate to fence in our raised gardens and flower beds. We would rather teach Padme to stay out. Any suggestions???

oh no!! All of that hard work. You are so patient though. Puppy dog eyes are the worst!
ReplyDeleteNaughty puppy, great pictures.
ReplyDeleteNot a clue...Rob says to put up and invisible fence...you'll have to ask him about it. And then a friend, can't remember who, had another sugesstion...I'll have to see if I can remember it! :) Good luck.
ReplyDeleteYour gardens are always so beautiful and so plentiful...it's sad to see only stems. :( But trying to get a puppy not to chew plants or dig in a garden is like handing me an icecream cone and then telling me not to lick it! Like that's going to happen! However, lovingly instilling a sense of self-discipline is something you are good at, so I'm betting you'll find a way to train that adorable dog!
