You think I would have learned my lesson the first time, but NO, it took me three recital cancellations to finally realize that I will have to hold them in my home from now on. I scheduled my Fall recital back in August at the Vail Theater for the Arts and today, after trying for days to get ahold of someone, I received a call that they would not honor the agreement we had made because the women who drew up the agreement was no longer with them. Now here I am once again four days before a recital without a place to perform.
No worries though, I will just transform my home once again into a recital hall, this time all beautifully decorated for the holidays, after all, The Show Must Go On!
How frustrating!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry this is happening again! But hey, look on the bright side...this way it saves you travel time, and gas! :) Hang in there. It will be great and the christmas decor will be a nice touch!
ReplyDeleteAs a parent who has sat through many recitals in various churches and other venues, I would love to attend a recital in a private home. The intimate setting would be refreshing.
