How does your garden grow?
Did I ever mention that my first
name is really Mary?
Honest it is, but please
don't ever call me by
my first name.

We counted them this morning,
there are 19 Artichokes!!!

We are looking forward to a bountiful
harvest of grapes.

If we can keep Padme from reaching up
into the trees and eating our peaches
and apricots I should be able
to do some canning this year.
All of the pictures were taken by Kendrick.
He promised to take pictures of the rest
of the gardens later this week.
19 artichokes will sure be easier to share than just 1. Kendrick did a great job on the pictures.
ReplyDeleteNow we can have some artichokes too? :)
ReplyDeleteNice pictures Kendrick.
We planted our flowers in small pots last night. I sure hope we can keep them alive...it will be good practice for when we have money to start gardening in the back yard!!!
Ooh...I am jealous! Mike has been hurting so bad this early spring, that he was unable to get our garden in! (He had to have double hernia surgery!) So, I have beautiful garden beds - that are completely empty!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!
Jenny!
It is fun to read your posts about your garden. You definitely have a lot of varieties. How old are your grape vines as I haven't seen anything like that yet? They are in their 3rd year this year.
ReplyDeleteZounds! How long have your artichokes been in your garden? I'm hoping to have some chokes . . by next year?
ReplyDeleteNeta, our grape vines are in their third 3rd year also. Last year we got about a third of what we are expecting year. Arizona is warmer than Utah so we are a little ahead of schedule. Give yours a bit more time. :)
ReplyDeleteWOw your garden has been growing wonderfully!! I can't wait to hear about the recipes with all those artichokes!! Hope the healing process goes quickly so you can get back in the groove of things!
