New Used
I was given this pice of furniture last year. It filled it's purpose but was hideous to look at. Someone had tried to antique it and did a very poor job. Finally this summer I found the time to transform it and customize it to fit into my daughter's bedroom. I only wish I had taken a before picture so you could appreciate more fully the final product.

It's lovely, you did a really great job. I especially like the gold accents.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful. You have a lot of patience. Isn't it awful what everyone used to do to furniture to make it look "new or better"?
ReplyDeleteIt truly is a different piece of furniture now that you've redone it. It's so pretty now, and goes so nicely in the girls room! I'm glad you took some pictures of it! I know it took a long time to transform it from a "beast" of a dresser to a "beauty" to behold!
ReplyDeleteLast night I took some tings over to the DI pod and there was a tall narrow dresser in there that matched this dresser! It was painted like this only showed quite a bit of "love". I did have to chuckle when I saw it.
