Happy Birthday SON!

When I was first married I remember very vividly telling Mar-Kay that I wanted all girls and one boy for him. My elder brother had been extremely rough on me and I didn't know if I would be able to handle raising boys. Well, four sons later I can truly say that they have been one of the greatest joys in my life.

I love my SONS!

And it all started with....

Cameron

Everyone has their favorite hat....
This one came from his Aunt, but don't
worry, he never wore it in public only in
the privacy of his own home.

He has always loved Superman and so
I made him a blue cape which he wore
everywhere, even in public.
The only time it came off was at
bath time and on Sundays.

Cameron excells at whatever he does.
He loves football and in all things
paves the way for his brothers.

The first to leave home,
Cameron served a mission for
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
in Hong Kong, China.

Farewell for two years.

Cameron thought his mission was the best
two years of his life until he met...
Michele.

Now his life has really begun as he is experiencing
the true joy of family.

As a young child, Cameron has always put the needs of others before his own. This gift of his has multiplied over the years as he serves willingly and cheerfully those around him. Today on his birthday he has taken it upon himself to take charge of moving his older sister whose husband is in basic training into her new home. Thank you for everything you do and the example you are to so many.

Happy Birthday Cameron!

We love you!

  1. I was thinking some of the same thoughts last night as I relected on the help Cameron has so willingly offered while I have been trying to move without a husband to help. And yes, he is giving up part of his birthday to get me moved in and I am so grateful! I remember in high school when he grew taller then me, and I would introduce him to people as my Big/Little brother....because he was younger than me, but definitely bigger. He was a great brother then, and he is even more so today. I know how hard it is to work and have a family to care for...so to know he does that and still finds time for me is very touching!

    Happy Birthday Cameron!
    Love,
    Your Big Sis

  2. As a side thought...I looked at the picture with the hat and see a bit of Dallin. It is fun to see. And then, look at me in that picture and tell me if you see Tati? Fun memories, but its so weird to look back at pics of us as kids, and now see the resemblance in our little children! I love family!

  3. Those pictures are wonderful. I remember that orange hat, and his cape. He was an adorable, sweet little boy. Happy Birthday Cameron!
