Look to the Heavens

Yesterday was a stressful day and I must admit I was quite grumpy by the time I finished teaching piano lessons. After dinner everyone wanted to go somewhere, anywhere. I was tired but understood their need to get out of the house, so I reluctantly got ready. As I walked out of the front door, I was immediately met by this remarkable sight................
"Look unto the heavens, and see;
and behold the clouds which are higher than thou."
Job 35:5

I was taken back by the beauty that was before my eyes. Honesty, what do I have to complain about. My life is rich in so many ways. I was grateful for this precious moment that taught me once again to put my trust in the Lord. The old adage is ever true:

“Do your duty, that is best;

leave unto the Lord the rest.”

Kendrick deserves the credit for these magnificent pictures.

Thanks Son!

  2. Beautiful pictures, and a timely reminder! Thank you. I used to have moments like that all the time when i was single. I'd get home from work, or be leaving early for school and look to the skies and feel so blessed for all that I had. Just the beauty and peace of a sunrise, a rainbow, or stars in the night sky reminded me of Heavenly Father's love for me. I need to look to the sky more often now that I am older with 2 kids. Thank you!
