Best Friends

Today Kendrick and his dog are inseparable.

Early this morning the children and I went out to try and undo the damage created by Padme in our backyard gardens. After cutting back all the destroyed bulbs and filling all of the holes we planted several vines and flowers. No sooner had I finished and turned my back, her curiosty got the best of her and she was digging up one of the vines. I was not pleased! But no worries, Kendrick has a plan. He ran inside and gathered water, snacks and a Star Wars book. He intends to stay with her the entire day to keep her occupied and out of my gardens. I went out to check on him and he and his best friend were just sitting comfortably on a bench much too small to hold them both. We will see what the day brings. :)
